ALISON KELLAGHER
« on: May 07, 2010, 05:07:49 pm »
Greetings all.

Some of you may not know Alison Kellagher, but some of you may remember her.  I felt I needed to post the sad news that Alison died last Tuesday (May 4th) from a cycling accident that occurred the previous Saturday.  If you google her name you will see the wonderful asset she was to the benzo community and how she stepped "out of the box" to assist others.

Here is the link to the tragic story of her end.  http://www.coloradodaily.com/cu-boulder/ci_15015300#axzz0nAWOCudS

Best wishes to everyone on their tapers.  It is possible to recover and resume a normal life despite the many messages your brain and body are telling you during and after withdrawal.  Take care.  Janus Jones

This is sad news.   When I first started looking for help, her site was one of the first helpful one I found.  Such a shame.

I'm lost for words...she was a great lady and helped me get through the worst in 2008.   :'(
