This article in The Daily Mail, a major British newspaper, follows an article in June 2009 in the Washington Post.

The crime of prescribing benzodiazepines for treating anxiety is slowly making its way to the world press. Sooner or later drug companies and the medical system will have to face this problem, due to the widespread damage it is causing to patients. I don't care about recompensation, all I care about is stopping the unwarranted suffering.
