severe heart palpitations when waking up or trying to sleep?

anyone experiences it? you are trying to sleep and out of a sudden, you experience heart palpitations (not due to anxiety)

or you are awakened by violent heart palpitations or flutters.

Yes I get that as well. When lay down for sleep my heart just starts pounding for no reason. I hope it eventually goes away.

do you try to take propranolol?

I tried metroprolol and clonidine. Neither one seemed to help me so I quit taking them before I got dependent on them. Other people have seemed to have luck with them though.

Yes the heart palpations are so annoying! I have Proponanol to help me a bit with that. Rapid withdrawal can make it more intense.
